Description:
At 639 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Duke to 3 miles southeast of Elmer to 3
miles southwest of Fargo. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Altus, Tipton, Blair, Olustee, Martha, Elmer, Headrick, Friendship,
Altus Air Force Base, Duke, Fargo, Humphreys, Odell, and Hess.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
