At 1057 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Knippa, or 15 miles northeast of Uvalde, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Medina, Hondo, Tarpley, Sabinal, Knippa, D'Hanis, New Fountain, Quihi, Utopia, Hill Country State Natural Area, Rio Medina, Bader, and Lakehills.
