Description:
At 243 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Shreveport to near Natchitoches. Movement
was northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
East Hodge, Lake End, Ferguson, Curtis, Grand Bayou, Campti,
Fillmore, Bodcau, Edgefield, Dodson, Eastwood, Hodge, Crichton,
Shongaloo, Heflin, Liberty Hill, Goldonna, North Hodge, Noles
Landing, and Ivan.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for north central
and northwestern Louisiana.
