Description:
At 358 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing a landspout along a line extending from 10 miles
west of Huntsville to near Anderson to 7 miles northeast of Brenham.
Movement was east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
objects.
Locations impacted include...
Southeastern College Station, Huntsville, Brenham, Navasota,
Washington, Trinity, Riverside, Bedias, Burton, Millican, Anderson,
Huntsville State Park, Crabbs Prairie, Independence, Quarry, Dacus,
Roans Prairie, Richards, and Carlos.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for southeastern
Texas.
