Description:
At 410 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gonzales, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Gonzales, Shiner, Little New York, Glaze City, Hamon, Wrightsboro,
Cost, Monthalia, Dilworth, and Oak Forest.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for south central
Texas.
