Description:
At 744 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bogalusa to near Mcneil. Movement was
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bogalusa, Angie, Poplarville, Varnado, Mcneil, Crossroads, and
Picayune.
This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 6 and
42.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for southeastern
Louisiana.
