Description:
At 747 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lottie to Atchafalaya Welcome Center to
near St. Martinville. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Maringouin, Grosse Tete, Brusly, Zachary, Erwinville, Livonia, Addis,
Rosedale, Fordoche, Port Allen, Ramah, New Roads, Lottie, Baker,
Slaughter, and Baton Rouge.
This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 127 and 155.
Interstate 110 in Louisiana near mile marker 8.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for southeastern
Louisiana.
