Description:
At 824 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Bruni, or 14 miles northwest of Hebbronville,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Benavides, Concepcion, Realitos, Bruni, Oilton, Rios, San Jose,
Rosita, and Mirando City.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central Texas.
