At 413 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek to 13 miles west of Town Of Santeetlah to 15 miles south of Madisonville to near Etowah to Charleston to 8 miles east of Soddy-Daisy. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Madisonville, Englewood, Hillsview, Bullet Creek, Archville, Etowah, Cleveland, Tellico Plains, and Big Spring.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Morristown.
