Description:
At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tremont, or 11 miles southeast of Fulton, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hamilton, Hackleburg, Weston, Bear Creek, Bexar, Pigeye, Shottsville,
and Upper Bear Creek Reservoir.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for northwestern
Alabama.
