Description:
At 1255 AM MDT/155 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles south of Goodland
to 11 miles northeast of Sharon Springs to 5 miles southwest of
Wallace to 13 miles north of Horace. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Wallace around 100 AM MDT.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM MDT/500 AM
CDT/ for west central Kansas.
