At 814 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oxford Lake, or near Oxford, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Anniston, Oxford, Heflin, Fosters Cross Roads, Delta, Corinth, Hollis
Crossroads, Choccolocco, Lake Cleburne, Dearmanville, Micaville,
Chalafinnee, and Camp Sequoyah.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
east central Alabama.
