Description:
At 437 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles east of Leakesville to 3 miles
northwest of Citronelle to 4 miles north of McIntosh. Movement was
north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Saint Stephens, McIntosh, Citronelle, State Line, Wagarville, Deer
Park, Fruitdale, Chatom, Leakesville, Tibbie, and Leroy.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southeastern Mississippi.
