Description:
At 1015 PM CDT, the public reported a strong thunderstorm near
Haysville, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Wichita, Derby, Winfield, Andover, Haysville, Mulvane, Rose Hill,
Clearwater, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Udall, Mcconnell Air Force Base,
South Wichita, Rock, Oaklawn, Riverdale, and Augusta Municipal
Airport.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 0 and 4.
Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 23 and 48.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
