Description:
At 557 AM EDT/457 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 12 miles west of Panama City Beach, moving northeast at
25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Panama City, Lynn Haven, Panama City Beach, Callaway, Springfield,
Hiland Park, Tyndall Air Force Base, Parker, Ebro, St Andrews State
Park, Seminole Hills, Cedar Grove, Dirego Park, Gulf Resort Beach,
West Panama City, Seaside, Bahama Beach, Biltmore Beach, Sunnyside,
and Millville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
