Description:
At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Green Cove Springs to near
Hastings. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Saint Augustine, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Hastings, Unf,
Mandarin, Fruit Cove, Arlington, World Golf Village, and Saint
Augustine Beach.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
