Description:
At 1200 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wayne, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Nitro, Winfield, Wayne, Hamlin, Proctorville, Beech Fork
State Park, Hurricane, Barboursville, Milton, Eleanor, Buffalo, Poca,
Ona, Culloden, East Lynn Lake, Centerville, Teays Valley, Cross
Lanes, and West Hamlin.
This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 8
and 45.
Instruction:
