Description:
At 1151 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Verbena, or near Clanton, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Clanton, Wetumpka, Rockford, Equality, Pentonville, Santuck, Cottage
Grove, Titus, Welona, Ten Cedar Estates, Nixburg, Dexter, Verbena,
Speed, Marbury, Mitchell Lake, Weoka Mills, Jordan Lake, Highway 9
and Highway 22, and Higgins Ferry Park.
Instruction:
