Description:
At 649 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sharkey, or near Morehead, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Morehead, Salt Lick, Ramey, Yale, Moore's Ferry, Hilda, Sharkey,
Bangor, Cogswell, Zilpo, Pelfrey, Farmers, Munson, Brandy, Bluestone,
Clearfield, Young Springs, Lick Fork, Freestone, and Midland.
THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
128 and 140.
