At 653 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Rock Hill to 15 miles west of Lancaster to 8 miles northwest of Chester to 5 miles north of Union. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Chester State Park, Richburg, Leeds, Cornwell, Edgemoor, Great Falls, Chester, Lesslie, Catawba, and Lockhart.
