Description:
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will affect Southwest MT
through the rest of the afternoon and into the evening hours.
Expect a brief period of rain, lightning and gusty winds as the
storms move through.
There is the potential that a few isolated storms could be on the
strong side, with strong wind gusts and hail.
The most favored area is for locations south of I-90 from Butte to
Bozeman, but a few storms could develop as far north as the Helena
and White Sulphur Springs area.
Those with outdoor plans this afternoon should keep an eye to the
sky, and if you see lightning or hear thunder, go inside until the
storm passes.
