Description:
At 334 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Harris Park, or 24 miles northwest of Wheatland, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sibley Peak, Dwyer Junction, Sandy Cove Campground, Two Moon
Campground, Guernsey State Park, Glendo State Park, and Cassa.
This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 89 and
109.
Instruction:
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southeastern Wyoming.
