Description:
At 1255 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Albany to near Durand. Movement was east
at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Janesville, Beloit, South Beloit, Milton, Brodhead, Clinton,
Orfordville, Footville, Lake Koshkonong, Newark, Magnolia, Tiffany,
Hanover, Avalon, Shopiere, Afton, Avon, Emerald Grove, Johnstown
Center, and Leyden.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 39/90 between mile markers 164 and 187.
Wisconsin Highway 26 between mile markers 6 and 13.
Interstate 43 between mile markers 0 and 11.
