Description:
At 151 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
the Bridge Burn Scar west of Wrightwood, moving west at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. Locally heavy
rain capable of minor flooding and debris flows.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible. Minor flooding and debris flows.
Locations impacted include...
Big Pines...Falling Springs...Bridge Burn Scar west of Wrightwood...
and Angeles Crest Highway between Mount Waterman and west of
Wrightwood.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
