At 555 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Wewoka to near Antioch. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail are possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... Horntown, Wetumka, Atwood, Dustin, Wynnewood, Rosedale, Konawa, Asher, Bowlegs, Sulphur, Fitzhugh, Turner Falls, Davis, Byars, Francis, Sasakwa, Katie, Lima, St. Louis, and Hickory. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for central, southeastern and east central Oklahoma.
