Description:
At 217 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Glenrio, or 25 miles west of Vega, moving east at 35
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Vega, Glenrio, Hereford, Wildorado, Simms, and Adrian.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 1 and 49.
