Description:
At 329 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Billows, or 10 miles west of London, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
London, Carico, Donaro, Robinet, Wood Creek Lake, Pittsburg, Pongo,
Mcwhorter, Horse Lick, Lamero, Atlanta, Bunch, Mershons, Hazel Patch,
Deese, Jep Hill, Victory, Middlefork, Camp Wildcat, and Moores Creek.
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 41 and
55.
Kentucky Highway 80 in Laurel County between mile markers 1 and 11.
Kentucky Highway 80 in Pulaski County between mile markers 34 and
40.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
