Description:
At 307 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cane Creek, or near Sheridan, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Pine Bluff, Sheridan, White Hall, Redfield, Cane Creek, Pine Bluff
Arsenal, Sulphur Springs, Pastoria, Jefferson, Lock and Dam 5 Park,
Kearney, Prague, Ico, Samples, Center Grove, Clear Lake, Hardin, and
Dexter.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
