Description:
At 244 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong
thunderstorm near Pawnee Pass, or 12 miles west of Sterling, moving
east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sterling, Merino, Iliff, Pawnee Pass, Logan Corners, Willard,
North Sterling Reservoir, Atwood, Stoneham, Padroni and New Raymer.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
