Description:
At 614 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Edgar County Airport, or 7 miles northeast of Paris, moving northeast
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Fairview Park, Montezuma, Rosedale, Universal, Mecca,
Blanford, and Shepardsville.
